- Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose has been announced for this week's SmackDown.

John Cena retained the WWE Heavyweight Championship by beating Ryback at Payback. The lumberjack match was won by Ryback via pinfall. Cena won the tables match. The ambulance match ended when Ryback went through the roof of the vehicle while taking the Attitude Adjustment.
