FRISCO, Texas (AP) The Dallas Stars placed right wing Valeri Nichushkin on injured reserve Sunday because of a groin injury and recalled defenseman Jyrki Jokipakka from the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League. Nichushkin has played in two games this season. He had 14 goals and 20 assists in 79 games last season as a rookie. Jokipakka had a goal in three games this season for Texas.
