I need to get the rock Juan…
The Bills aren’t going anywhere this season, so it’s time to let their young guys play. As much as I love Fred Jackson, CJ Spiller has a chance to be a superstar in the NFL. If today was any indication of how the 2 backs fair:
Fred Jackson: 11 touches for 35 yards
CJ Spiller: 11 touches for 102 yards
Chan Gailey: “Yeah, we would like to and we got to try to do that on a more consistent basis. Some weeks are better than others and sometimes they take things away from you that you don’t think they’re going to do but they did. They surprised us with a defense we hadn’t seen very much and we had to alter. I got to do a better job of adjusting. ”
Time to play the kid, Chan.
En Fuego: Brandon Marshall
En Fuego: Andrew Luck

I can run on anyone Juan…
CJ Spiller is one of the most electric RBs in the NFL, but is getting held back by his coach. I reported hat Chan Gailey wants to get the RB more touches, but it remains to seen if he will.
Spiller has 78/562/4 on the season which is good for 7.2 YPC. That is off the charts ridiculous. Add in the 24/236/1 through the air and you have one of the most...

Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Mario Williams made his first trip back to Houston to face his former team and said afterward he enjoyed being booed.
Coming off their bye week, it’s honestly still not clear whether Buffalo remains a contender in the AFC.Sure, their pitiful showing against New York, San Francisco and New England, coupled with their needless loss to the Titans has many fans already throwing up their hands in defeat, but the fat lady isn’t crooning quite yet.The Bills are just a game below .500, they have the...
Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams did something against the Houston Texans that we have not seen a lot of this season — sacked the opposing quarterback. Williams has not lived up to the $96 million contract the Bills signed him to over the offseason, but recording a sack against the team he spent six seasons with must have been quite gratifying. Williams popped up and...

According to the Buffalo Bills Twitter account offensive tackle Erik Pears (hip, groin) did not travel with the team for their Week 9 game and has been ruled out ,Next in line is Chris Hariston he’s got a tough match up against JJ...
Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey told reporters that wide receiver Steve Johnson has a "bad" thigh contusion. Johnson tried his best to play through the injury on Sunday, but only caught three of his seven targets for 29 yards.
The Bills travel to New England next week which should provide Johnson a very favorable matchup if he's healthy enough to play. For now...
Bills head coach Chan Gailey mentioned that WR Stevie Johnson is dealing with a “bad” contusion in his thigh.
“He got hit in the thigh,” said Gailey, via BuffaloBills.com. “He’s got a bad thigh bruise is what happened to him. He played through it and it depends on how much it swells and how much of it drains into the lower part of his leg. All of those kinds of things...
This is probably the most simple statistic you will see in this series, but there is no need to complicate something that is so simple and obvious. CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson only combined for 12 total carries on Sunday afternoon. Twelve. Combined. The 2nd ranked rush offense in the league* and 27th ranked passing offense in the league attempted 12 runs and 38 passes on Sunday afternoon...
The Bills enter Week 9 at 3-4 and facing the Houston Texans, arguably the best team in the AFC. Before we get to this week’s questions here are our updated standings:
Rob Quinn: 8-2
Brandon Hess: 19-11
Ryan Talbot: 23-12
Michael Bundt: 21-14
Mike Straw: 15-10
1. Houston has not given up a run of 20 yards this year. Will C.J. Spiller or Fred Jackson be the first to do so...

The Headline: Texans corral the Bills for an easy home win
Much had been made about Mario Williams’ return to Houston where he spent the first six years of his career. The split between Williams and the front office was far from amicable by the sounds of it, as they reportedly made no effort to even retain Williams, something which did not...
HOUSTON - In a homecoming bloated with rancor and disdain, Bills defensive end Mario Williams enjoyed his one moment in the spotlight with a second-quarter sack of Texans quarterback Matt Schaub and a taunting finger wag at the Texans' bench. That was the most memorable impression former Texans player Williams left on Sunday at Reliant Stadium, a development Texans fans surely...
Here are five things we can take away from this week's game:The Texans Can Win DirtyThe Bills hung around way too long in a game they should have been crushed in. A lot of credit goes to Buffalo, but most goes to the Texans offense who came out very flat. In the end they were able to string some yards together and win by a wide margin and that is what good teams do-- stay in...
The Buffalo Bills have to be one of the more confusing teams as we hit the midseason point in the 2012 NFL season. From time to time, the Bills look like a playoff team. At other times, they closer resemble a team who is worthy of a top three draft pick. They are that frustrating to predict.
At this point, all we have learned that we can predict with the Bills is that they will continue...
