THANK YOU
Hello Yardbarkers, Wow - It's been so long since I have been on here. As you can imagine, I have had a lot going on in my life but it's all coming together now.
As one chapter of my life comes to a close, another chapter is just beginning. I would like to sincerely thank all of my fans for making my four years as a Steeler a memorable one. This is the team where I won my first Super Bowl ring, received the Super Bowl XLIII MVP and also won my first ESPY award. How can I move forward and not take those feelings and experiences with me. Those are the ones that left such a great taste in my mouth and wanting to strive for more. The support and encouragement you have given me from day one has been such an inspiration that I will continue to carry with me. I have made some mistakes in my past that I am not proud of, but the most important thing is that I have learned from them. God has given me the opportunity to make a clean start and I am really excited about moving forward in a positive direction. To all of my New York Jets fans, thank you for welcoming me with open arms. The 2010 season is going to be a great one. I know the reason Mike Tannenbaum, Coach Ryan and Mr. Johnson brought me to this team is to help win a Super Bowl and I plan on helping them accomplish that goal. Thank you again for all your support and encouragement. God Bless, Santonio Holmes New York Jets Wide Receiver

Well, you went from my favorite team to my home team!

Steelers or Jets, we're rooting for you in the Yard, Santonio. Thanks for checking in!

That's awesome of you to take the time to acknowledge your fans. I'm a fan from out west, but I like the way you handle your business on and off the field.
-

One helluva catch friend! You still have your whole life in front of you. Make your setbacks 'stepping stones' and you'll land on time.

Tone - I am a Steeler fan that lives in New York City. I proudly have been wearing your #10, but you have broken my heart with the mistakes. I hope and pray that you let the power of Jesus and the Holy Ghost guide you in the rest of your life. I am still pulling for you. Are you planning on moving to New York or New Jersey. I would love to invite you to church. yo hot me back pmj98@hotmail.com

There are no mistakes in life, just life lessons which we've all experienced. The objective is what you learn from that lesson. I will miss you as a steeler player but will continue to follow you as an NFL player receiver regardless of where you go. A team doesn't define you, it's your skill and talent that does. And you have already proved that.

We miss you come back to Pittsburgh(even tho i dont live there)!!! I was a wreck when i found out you left. I even somehow had high hopes that you'd get traded BACK to the Steelers. But thats not happening. :( Its upsetting seeing them play without you. And even worst when they have to go against you. It sucks. But I wish you the best of luck in "New York". Miss you lots!
And btw, did you move to NJ?! Because my brother talked to you at the barbershop in Morristown! How darfe he not get me an autograph! What a brother. Even tho im a girl, i mite jus hav to go there. Apparently hes seen a lot of Jets players. Including you... :D -
Come Back To Pittsburgh please. Many of our fans really do miss you and we have so many memories together. When the throwbacks came out, you were the first player I got it in. I know you can hit the free agency, obviously we can't pay you ridiculous amounts of money. Just consider it especially if Ward decides to worry after his 3rd super bowl victor.

Nice start in NYC. Hope the Jets can take it all the way this coming season. Go Bucks!
